A few years ago, Lego began offering a set called Lego Ideas that allowed fans to submit ideas for new sets. The most promising ideas are tested through a rigorous process before they are officially released. These new designs allow fans to create models that are exceptionally intricate and aren’t available in other sets. Through this process that the incredible Voltron set was born. The set lets players build all five mechanical lions and then, with a bit of reassembling – join them together to form the legendary Voltron.

Other fan-created sets include this homage to Japan’s most famous mountain peak. The set is a massive size and is packed with lots of amazing details that you will not find in other sets. It’s also a great way to show off your love of Japan.
